My web design journey began with a spark of curiosity and a love for art. From a young age, I found myself drawn to the intersection of technology and creativity. I would spend hours tinkering with graphics software, experimenting with colors and layouts, and immersing myself in the fascinating world of web design.

The Educational Voyage

To turn my passion into a profession, I pursued a path that combined artistry and technical know-how. I earned a Graphic Design qualification, honing my skills in visual communication and aesthetics. Later, I delved deeper into the world of art by obtaining a degree in Illustration, where I learned the power of storytelling through visuals.

But my thirst for knowledge didn’t stop there. I knew that the digital landscape was ever-evolving, and I needed to stay at the forefront of the industry. So, I undertook a comprehensive web design course, where I immersed myself in the intricacies of web development, user experience design, and the latest technologies. It was during this time that I had my first real taste of crafting digital experiences.

From Flash to Flourishing Creativity

I still remember my first internship as a web designer, where I had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients. It was during this phase that I witnessed the transformation from Flash-based websites to the dynamic, responsive designs of today. It was an exciting time, filled with challenges and opportunities to push the boundaries of creativity.

The Birth of Read Studios Web Design

In 2008, I took a leap of faith and founded Read Studios Web Design. It was a momentous step in my web design journey, one that allowed me to blend my artistic background with my passion for technology. From that day forward, my mission was clear—to craft digital experiences that captivate, engage, and inspire.

Beyond the Screen: My Love for Art, Family, and Nature

While web design is a significant part of my life, there’s more to me than what you see on the screen. I have a deep love for painting, which often serves as a wellspring of inspiration for my design work. I’m also a fervent animal lover, cherishing moments spent with my furry companions. But perhaps the most cherished aspect about me and my life is my family and friends, who provide unwavering support and encouragement.

One of the most memorable chapters of my life involved living and working on a narrow boat. As I navigated the waterways, I found inspiration in the ever-changing landscapes. I painted as we traveled, capturing the beauty of nature and the tranquility of life on the water. These experiences continue to shape my creative perspective and infuse my designs with a sense of wonder.
